Homocerti Academy – Keeping Human Beings in the Knowledge Loop
Homocerti is an international organization committed to preserving what makes human beings strong: generating, transmitting, and acquiring knowledge. These three capacities, which have allowed humans to rise, dominate their planet, and conquer their solar system, are now entrusted to a form of intelligence already considered superior to our own: Artificial Intelligence (AI). Homocerti Academy is the platform where we educate our clients on content creation to fulfill this mission.
Homocerti’s missions: Why does the organization exist and why is its work important for humanity?
Homocerti exists to help professionals, researchers, and learners maintain control over how they generate, transmit, or acquire knowledge. Our clients rely on us to create learning and communication strategies that preserve their authenticity and authority.
Homocerti used machine learning to evaluate content published on 18 major websites, including LinkedIn. According to our estimates, 80% of the content clearly identified as AI-generated is for marketing purposes. This includes:
- LinkedIn users who generate posts and articles to showcase their expertise in a field
- Online store owners who generate fake reviews and customer experiences for their products
- Students and researchers who generate pseudo-scientific articles to attract the attention of the scientific community, very often in a useless and boring way.
These people generate what looks like knowledge, but is really just noise. Indeed, when someone uses ChatGPT to write a fake review of their Ibiza vacation, they tend to make readers believe they KNOW what it feels like to vacation there. They then pass this knowledge on to others, often through social media. These people might well make travel decisions based on flawed or at least biased information.
70% of our daily work involves helping these professionals generate quality content. We have already supported hundreds of SMEs and startups in increasing their revenue and restoring their authority in their market, through content that resonates with their audiences.
Thanks to Homocerti, businesses, website owners and academics no longer have to generate content without value for their target audience because we teach them how to create quality content quickly and efficiently.
Our work with companies and the benefits for them
Homocerti helps businesses develop content strategies that resonate with their customers. We advise companies on why, how, and when to use AI versus human expertise. We help them determine the best approach for human-AI collaboration.
One of our clients in the finance sector, who had been using AI since September 2024 to generate advertising copy and write emails, reported a drastic drop in audience reach and engagement with their products. After auditing their blog and posts on four major social media platforms, we determined that the messages generated by our client’s chatbot were too generic. A survey of 30% of users revealed that they no longer felt a sense of belonging to a community. The use of AI for communication had created a disconnect between the company and its intended audience.
Homocerti offers content strategies to prevent marketing teams from automatically relying on AI to write their copy. Indeed, many marketing professionals admit to using generative AI because they themselves don’t know what content to produce or how to structure it. 56% of respondents even admitted to using generative AI to produce content, fully aware that its quality would be questionable.
Education, a priority sector
Homocerti began its work in the education sector, as it is the prime location for the generation, transmission, and acquisition of knowledge. We provide institutions with intelligent tools that allow them to determine if a text has been written using generative AI. These tools range from cloud-based detectors to software that can be installed on Windows or Mac.
Homocerti assists the educational community in writing their documents, in order to avoid them having to resort to generative AI to produce mediocre content.
Through Homocerti Academy, we train educators and learners in writing academic and professional documents. Our progress in the field of education is remarkable.
- We have worked with over 8,000 students and researchers
- More than 70 schools around the world rely on our software solutions to check the quality of their students’ work.
- We have a presence in Africa, Europe, and America.
Who created Homocerti and why is it important for the educational community and businesses?
Homocerti is an organization founded by Kana Kelvin, also known as Lord Kelvin, a physics and computer science teacher with 15 years of experience in knowledge creation and dissemination. He also has 10 years of experience in professional content creation, having worked as an SEO expert and content strategist for seven marketing companies since 2015.
Since the beginning of 2024, Lord Kelvin, who is deeply involved in the educational community, has observed that his colleagues worldwide are increasingly complaining about the quality of work produced by their students. Simultaneously, within the broader marketing community, managers are finding it increasingly difficult to obtain original texts, as their employees prefer to generate texts using AI, even though the results are far from satisfactory.
A survey will quickly demonstrate that people who prefer to generate professional or academic content with AI believe they do not have the skills to do better, or do not actually have them.
Lord Kelvin then understood the threat: If humans, both learners and professionals, entrust AI with the task of generating and transmitting knowledge in their place, then they will lose control over their studies, their academic projects, their businesses.
Indeed, what feeling will your customers develop towards your brand if they feel that you cannot take the time to write the messages you post on social media or those included in the emails you want them to read yourself?
How much credibility will recruiters give to a candidate who can’t take the time to write their own CV? Furthermore, is a CV generated by AI even trustworthy?
Lord Kelvin then joined forces with several colleagues, including teachers, researchers, and other marketing professionals, to create Homocerti. The project’s participants are now part of an organization with a clear objective: to keep humans in control of the knowledge loop.
Homocerti is a pro-AI organization that believes the full potential of this technology lies in a Human-AI interaction in which the human is in control.
